Relapse/Moan/ihavetoomanywordstodescribeyourlove

Your heart is not a grenade, it's a land mine.
Snap me out like a photograph this time
Hanging on your love or bated breath
Your love/words are more than I can take
Sleep well and see you gleam.
Moonlit love - I see you in my dreams.

  1. i can't decide if this is a true love poem, or a true hate poem, or something in between. it's kind of amazing because it can be read as sweet or bitter, and that makes it truly unique. I especially love the concluding line.

  2. there's an awful bittersweet overtone to all of this. i've heard that love and hate are only a footstep away, with the stairs leading to each other built from resentment and pain. i always forgive, but never forget. sometimes it sinks me more than my heavy heart, but it beats holding a grudge for too long.

you can say that this girl is redefining "dream girl" one night at a time.
